We’re thrilled to celebrate some fantastic news from CAIT. This June, six of our students graduated — what a joyful day. The air was filled with laughter, heartfelt worship, and celebration as family, friends, and faculty gathered to honor what God has done.

Each one carries a powerful story of transformation and faithfulness. From overcoming illness to persevering through war and displacement, these men have displayed incredible commitment to the gospel and the local church.

We couldn’t be more proud and excited for what’s ahead as they step into new seasons of ministry. The Lord has carried us through hard times and will continue to guide us through the tough seasons ahead.
Meet Mazen
Mazen Chehadeh comes from a small village near the southern city of Sidon, where he lives with his wife and children. He did not grow up in the evangelical church but was raised as a nominal Catholic. A few years ago, his life took a turn when he encountered one of our CAIT students, Charbel Azzi. Charbel shared the gospel with Mazen and encouraged him to study the Bible.
As Mazen grew in understanding God’s Word, he began attending the Alliance church in Remelieh, just outside Sidon. He and his family came to faith in Jesus Christ and were baptized there. His growing passion for the gospel and his desire to serve led him to enroll at CAIT to deepen his theological training.

During his first year at CAIT, Mazen began experiencing abdominal pain. After undergoing medical tests, he was diagnosed with cancer. This unexpected diagnosis required significant adjustments to his academic schedule. Yet the CAIT community rallied around him, offering prayer, encouragement, academic flexibility, and personal support.
Despite the physical and emotional challenges, Mazen has continued to testify to the goodness of the Lord.
He completed all his coursework during the 2024–2025 academic year and took on greater leadership responsibilities at his local church. We celebrated Mazen this year in June 2025.
Who We Are
The Christian Alliance Institute of Theology (CAIT) is an evangelical institution committed to forming devoted followers of Jesus Christ who are called to serve Arabic-speaking communities. Through deep theological training and intentional spiritual development, we prepare men and women to lead with humility, biblical wisdom, and a heart for gospel ministry.
We are passionate about seeing a new generation of leaders — rooted in Scripture, shaped through discipleship, and strengthened by character — rise to serve the Church and bring lasting transformation to their communities. At CAIT, we believe that true leadership flows from a life anchored in God’s unchanging truth, cultivated through academic excellence, and lived out in faithful mission.
Grounded in Truth. Growing in Grace. Leading in Mission — equipping Christlike leaders to serve every Arabic-speaking community with courage and conviction.
