President’s Letter

A Christmas Letter from our President

Merry Christmas, CAIT family.

Every issue is published here as CAIT sent it, so the figures and plans in it are the ones that stood at the time of writing. The rest of this site carries the current ones.

But you, O Bethlehem Ephrathah, who are too little to be among the clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to be ruler in Israel, whose coming forth is from of old, from ancient days.

Micah 5:2 (ESV)

Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,

As we approach Christmas, I invite you to pause amid the busyness of the season. While the world measures significance by what is most visible and impressive, Scripture reminds us that God often works through what appears small.

Through the prophet Micah, the Lord reveals that He chose Bethlehem, a place considered “too little,” as the birthplace of our Savior. The infinite God entered history not through power or prominence, but through humility. What the world overlooked, God chose as a vessel for His glory.

This truth encourages us as a seminary community. When we offer ourselves faithfully and humbly to the Lord, He uses what may seem small to accomplish His eternal purposes.

As we celebrate the birth of Christ, my family and I wish you a joyful and blessed Christmas, filled with the peace and hope that come from Him.

Grace and peace,

Wissam Dagher
