Fall Update 2026

Chapel in the Room, and Around the World

Beirut, Lebanon

Every issue is published here as CAIT sent it, so the figures and plans in it are the ones that stood at the time of writing. The rest of this site carries the current ones.

Dear friends,

The fall semester at CAIT is underway. This season our students, faculty, and staff have gathered in chapel to sing and pray together, and the service is shared online so that students studying from home can worship with us.

Of the 59 students enrolled this fall, 39 are studying remotely. From students in Yemen, Tunisia, or Iraq, all the way back to Lebanon.

We wanted you to see what your prayers and gifts are building, so here is a look at who is studying with us this semester and the graduates the Lord has sent out since 1994.

And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others.

Through years of war and economic crisis in the region, CAIT has kept sending out graduating classes, and the pace has picked up. Forty-three of our graduates have finished since 2015, nearly half of everyone who has completed a program here in 32 years.

Our graduates come from 8 countries, most of them from Syria (46), Lebanon (20), and Sudan (14). Counting today’s students too, CAIT has now served students from 10 countries.

Pray with us

Please pray for the 59 students in class this semester, for our faculty as they teach both in the room and online, and for our 93 graduates, wherever the Lord has placed them.

If you would like to give, every gift helps CAIT keep teaching God’s Word to students across the Middle East and North Africa, in the classroom and on the screen.

With gratitude, Wissam Dagher President, Christian Alliance Institute of Theology
